Baby Moon - March 18th

We bought tickets to see The Black Eyed Peas at the Houston Rodeo on March 18th. So after work I drove to the Zoo to meet Kevin and take the Metro Rail to Reliant. He told me he was held up because it was Spring Break and he had to help with crowd control. I texted him back saying that was fine I would let him know when I got to his office. I got to the Zoo and chatted with Sara for a little bit before Kevin walked in dressed for the Rodeo. We left to ride the Metro rail it was very crowded. We knew we weren't going to make it inside to watch the National Anthem so we took out time walking in, had some funnel cake. We started walking up to our seats which were on Row P but the seats only went up to Row O. The pictures is of me sitting in our seats and the rest of the stadium. The show was awesome it was so much fun. After the show we stayed in our seats to let some of the crowd clear out then of course had to stand in line to go to the bathroom. Then Kevin was leading me out of Reliant but we weren't going towards the Metro Rail. I told him we were going the wrong way and I was not going to walk all the way around Reliant. Then Kevin said "But this is the way to our hotel" I was very confused and started asking a million questions. He explained that he got us a room at the Crown Plaza within walking distance to Reliant so we would not have to deal with the traffic and crowds. Then I started thinking about things I would need for work Friday. He said he did pack a bag but that I would not need clothes for work because I was off. He talked to Leash and got it approved for me to be off several weeks ago and that my co-workers knew about it this whole time. It was very exciting there is nothing better than being told you don't have to work. By then we were at the hotel we watched TV and went to pick up some ice cream.

Friday we slept in until lunch time and had lunch at Lupe Tortillias and then went to a movie. Then we went to Brett's Baby shower at the Zoo.

I was very surprised by the planning that Kevin put in. It made me feel very special, I really appreciated our time spent together just the 2 of us and my huge belly.

Baby Shower - March 13th 2010

This shower was hosted by Natalie & Nanette at Natalie & Shaun's house. We had a lot of fun. We played games like you can't say "baby", guess how many safety pins and guess how big around Bobby's belly is. The cake was adorable and tasted great too. I was really excited to spend time with friends who do not live in town. Thank you very much to everyone who was able to make it. I really appreciate all of the gifts and well wishes. Here are the pictures from the shower.
